Participants Testimonials

Save the Water Summer Camp was eye-opening! I learned so much about water issues in our community, from microplastics to PFAS, thanks to the five insightful classes. The straightforward approach made learning enjoyable, and now I won't take water for granted. Grateful to Save the Water Organization for raising awareness on water issues. Highly recommend the camp.

Eighth Grade Student

I loved the summer e-Camp. It was fun, interesting and educational. The activities were interactive and the teachers were really nice. The workbooks and the worksheets were helpful and the presentations helped me understand the topic better. Although I would have liked it if there were some fun fact sections to the topics, I really enjoyed Save the Water Summer e-Camp.

I really enjoyed STW Summer eCamp. It was an eye-opener. I’m very grateful to STW, and will happily recommend the camp to my friends!  I learned that some of the products that claim they are plastic-free but they are not. I explored a new world that I did not know - preventing the use of chemicals. We got a chance to play some games during the camp! We learned about many properties and phenomena of water. We also learned about making the right choices while buying products. Anyone who hears about it should definitely attend.

Fifth Grade Student

I learned many things at this E-camp and also had a great time. I learned about the dangers of microplastics, forever chemicals, and other things that harm our waters. I learned ways to solve these problems too, such as using better filters and also cutting off the source of these problems. I also learned a useful skill which was how to find these bad things in our everyday products, so we can avoid them. Our instructors were very clear and precise during each lesson. This made it easy for me to understand all the information. The activities made us leave our table and actually move around and investigate these dangers in our home. As a result, the activities were very engaging. I also think that the kahoot at the end was a fun idea. Finally, my last piece of feedback is that I think there should be a kahoot after every lesson. Overall, I think this was a very fun camp.
